Precambrian Products Inc. is a Canadian advanced materials manufacturer specializing in high-performance polypropylene non-woven filtration media. Based in Ontario, Canada, we are committed to strengthening North America’s filtration supply chain by providing a reliable domestic source of innovative, high-quality filter media.
For decades, critical filtration materials have relied heavily on global supply chains. Recent disruptions have highlighted the importance of having dependable regional manufacturing capabilities. Precambrian was established to address this challenge — helping filter manufacturers reduce supply chain risk, improve responsiveness, and access locally produced filtration solutions.
Filtration is a specification business. Buyers do not need slogans — they need particulate efficiency, fabric weight, airflow resistance and roll format, held batch after batch. Everything about how we are set up, from our own meltblown extrusion line to robotic assembly and a certified quality system, exists to hold a specification.

The company
From Canadian shield to clean sheet
Precambrian Products Inc. is a nonwoven media and filtration manufacturer based in Newmarket, Ontario. We run our own meltblown extrusion line and build finished filters beside it — custom design, automated manufacturing, robotic assembly and potting, ultrasonic welding and contract assembly, under a third-party certified quality management system.
We are a member of INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, and we manufacture for medical device, HVAC, construction, automotive, industrial, marine and environmental customers across North America.
Founded in 2019, Precambrian built its own meltblown extrusion capability in Ontario when nearly all North American filtration media came from overseas — and proved the value of a domestic line when supply chains broke. Today the same line feeds filtration customers across Canada and the United States, and our GreenStrength sorbent brand carries the media into spill control.
